A lesson at CMU

I already expressed my opinion about the superiority of the American education system. The attached sketch is another argument

I was these days at Carnegie Mellon University for talks with Jaime Carbonell on Machine translation. I could not do less than walk in into a lesson, in which a student presented results of her research. The film has been taken at that opportunity. In CMU classrooms students can use the wall to paint on, the atmosphere is relaxed and informal (see the pizza at the back of the room). The teachers are not in front of the class, but they are discussing with the students... Creativity is asked for.
