My flat in Berlin is just at the border between Kreuzberg and Mitte. It is just the place, in which in the movie  "Der Himmel ueber Berlin"  the angel came down to earth. Actually it has been built precisely there, where once the berlin wall devided the city.

It belongs to the Stadteil Mitte, but with 4 footsteps you reach the wild west of Kreuzbergs SO 36.

This was the old "Luisenstadt", important before Worldwar II then disappeared as results of the division of the town, now rebirthing in fine new housing complexes around the Engelbecken.

Dresdenerstr. 114 has been built in 2007. The appartment is on the 4th floor and the big living/working/kitchen areas runs from east to west and faces the sun in the morning and evening through 3 m high top to bottom glass windows.  One of the two bedrooms faces east the other west.  One bedroom has a big onsuite bathroom the second bathroom is accessible from the living area. The overall size is about  105 sqm  (1100 sqft).

With me working mostly in Rome or abroad, the flat is often free. I am using it  for home exchange  (mainly interested in New York), but I also rent it out to parties of not more than 2  (90 Euro/night or 60 for single occupancy)
